Three lawyers, and each one reads your file

No case is passed to a lawyer you haven't met. Every file has a lead lawyer and a second who knows it well enough to take your call.

    Partner, business disputes

Handles contract fights, owner disagreements and defending companies that have been sued.

  • Barnaby Ormsby, smiling, with a short beard, in a navy suit and red tie against a light backdrop

    Barnaby Ormsby

    Associate, property and insurance

Takes property disputes and insurance coverage cases, and runs the discovery on most files.

How we staff a case

A lead lawyer and a second who knows the file

Every matter has a lead lawyer who makes the decisions and talks to you, and a second lawyer who reads the same documents. If the lead is in court, the second can tell you where things stand.

We take a small number of cases at a time so that this stays true. When we are full, we say so, and suggest another firm.

Paralegal and administrative help is part of the work, but your questions about the case go to a lawyer.
